DENTON, TEXAS – September is National Preparedness Month. State and federal officials are urging people to become prepared by developing a family emergency plan, putting together an emergency supply kit and learning more about what to do during natural disasters and other emergency situations.

 

New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management encourages news media outlets to view the following websites where preparedness information, as well as homeland security information can be obtained.
